Fat burning foods can be extremely beneficial when you are trying to lose body fat. They help speed up your metabolism and some can even keep your blood sugar levels low. Here are some natural fat burning foods that you can add into your recipes or eat right out. Without further ado, here are my top three.

Cayenne peppers are extremely potent in nature and are very fat burning as with all peppers. Scientists in some studies have found that your metabolism can keep risen for up to 3 hours after ingesting a spicy meal containing cayenne pepper. You can add this pepper into some recipes to add an extra kick such as healthy chili.

Another potent fat burning food is green tea. We all have heard about the health effects of drinking green tea every day, but it also has fat burning properties. Green tea has a chemical called ECGC that basically increases activity in your brain and nervous system. This is the main ingredient in green tea and fat burning products that contain green tea.

Chicken is also another natural fat burning food. I put chicken on this list because it contains a lot of protein per serving. Protein is very thermogenic in nature. It is up to 30% more thermogenic than carbs or fat. This basically means that when you consume protein, or in this case chicken, your body is going to have to burn more energy in the form of calories to break down the protein.
